Tutto inizia con papà Vito, per tutti Tuccino, che alla fine degli anni ’60 decide di fare da mangiare nella sua baracca di legno e stuoie di canne dove vendeva cozze e frutti di mare. Oggi è Pasquale Centrone l’anima del Ristorante Da Tuccino.
Nei suoi occhi, allegri e indomiti, ci sono gli occhi del papà Tuccino e della mamma Tonetta. Cultore dell’eccellenza più assoluta sceglie personalmente il pesce ogni mattina. Appassionato di vini, Pasquale continua a ricercare in continuazione le bottiglie migliori da inserire nella già fornitissima carta dei vini. Da Tuccino a Pasquale. Una storia che continua. The history of our restaurant is the history of our family. It all began with Vito, aka Tuccino, who at the end of the 1960s decided to cook in his wooden shack with reed mats where he sold mussels and seafood. Today Pasquale Centrone is the soul of the Da Tuccino restaurant. In his eyes, cheerful and indomitable, there are the eyes of his father Tuccino and his mother Tonetta. A lover of absolute excellence, he personally chooses the fish every morning. Passionate about wines, Pasquale continues to search continuously for the best bottles to include in the already well-stocked wine list. From Tuccino to Pasquale. A story that continues.
La Veranda di Giselda - Nasciamo nel 1919 grazie a nonno Giovanni detto “u’ candnir” come ritrovo serale di marinai e contadini. Ben quattro generazioni della famiglia si sono avvicendate nel nome dell’ospitalità sino ad arrivare alla trattoria di mare che oggi conosciamo. We were born in 1919 thanks to grandfather Giovanni known as “the cellarman”, because he hosted evening meetings for sailors and farmers. Four generations of the family have alternated in the name of hospitality up to the seaside restaurant we know today.
